HYDROGEN IS NOT THE FUTURE, IT’S THE NOW

We founded Genevos to accelerate access to clean power solutions in the maritime sector.

The mounting pressure for vessels to decarbonise in response to climate change targets requires the fast development of practical and scalable solutions. This is key to our strategy at Genevos. In 2021 our product range was the first world-wide to be awarded AiP certification as a fully-integrated drop-in marine solution.

Innovation plays a crucial role in our daily business, keeping simplicity and safety as key design elements for the efficient deployment of clean hydrogen power solutions. By designing a modular and fully-integrated drop-in power pack, the HPM enables practical installation aboard any vessel, simplifying the energy transition for integrators and OEMs.

We are proud to be a first-mover in developing green hydrogen technologies, which are vital in the marine sector’s journey towards net-zero.

MISSION

Innovating zero emission power solutions to enable clean and resilient mobility on our oceans

VALUES

  • Solutions Driven – obstacles as challenges, not barriers

  • Simplicity – leveraging efficiency and creativity

  • Innovation – agile and pioneering

  • Teamwork & Diversity – interdependency for unison

BASED IN LA ROCHELLE

Home to one of Europe’s largest ports with over 5,000 recreational boats, Genevos sits in a maritime hub of resource, knowledge and opportunity.

The Genevos offices are based at Atlantech, the first European carbon cooperative, which produces green hydrogen and is part of the ‘La Rochelle, zero carbon territory’ initiative.

BORN FROM OCEAN RACING

OUR HERITAGE

The world’s first green hydrogen race yacht

Genevos is a cleantech spin-off from ‘OceansLab – Race to Zero Emissions‘, a unique ocean racing campaign that innovates and showcases critical renewable energy technologies for a clean maritime industry today. Uniquely powered by a Genevos HPM-15, the OceansLab IMOCA60 will compete in the world’s most extreme oceanic environments showcasing globally the practical application of Hydrogen Power Modules offshore.

CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES

  • Accelerate the uptake of green hydrogen as a clean fuel

  • Be the first hydrogen race boat to circumnavigate the planet

  • Break world records to demonstrate performance advantages of renewable innovations
